Welcome! Ships & Dip 4 made up for everything Ships & Dip V lacked... except maybe Steven Page. While I missed him from time to time, I still think we had a FANTASTIC time. The weather was great (Costa Maya aside), I felt great for most of the trip, and we had some fun surprises!
Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6 - Traveling and Day One
Flying down to Miami from Rochester, New York, South Beach, boarding the Norwegian Dawn, sail-away, and evening events -- Jason Plumb, Brothers Creeggan and Great Big Sea.
Monday, February 7 - Day At Sea
Great Big Sea Q&A for alumni, BNL Kids' show, Shuffle Demons, Mike Evin and Jukebox the Ghost.
Tuesday, February 8 - Costa Maya
Jade museum, a day at the beach, a little rain, Boothby Graffoe and Sean McCann's solo show. Snorkeling pics to come later when we get them developed.
Wednesday, February 9 - Cozumel
Another day at the beach, Great Big Sea sail away show, more Boothby Graffoe, BNL Main Show (with guests Jason Plumb, Adam Gardner, Ryan Miller and more Boothby), and Acid Wish. Snorkeling pics to come later when we get them developed.
Thursday, February 10 - Day at Sea and Heading Home
I combined the last day at sea with coming home because there were not enough pictures in the latter category to create a new album, and we spent all of Friday at the Miami Zoo (below). Features BNL Q&A, GBS Songs Unsung, Quadruple Dipper meetup, Ben Kweller, Guster, and a few surprises! You have been warned. ;)
Friday, February 11 - Miami Zoo
After we (reluctantly) got off the ship, we spent the afternoon with my friend, Mary, exploring the Miami Zoo. We got in for half price with our Seneca Park Zoo membership, and it was worth every penny, because it took us SIX HOURS to get through it. Seriously ridiculously huge zoo. Thank goodness it was a cool, cloudy day.
