This was the first spread of a six-page Market Pulse Journal cover story featuring Econometrics. Econometrics was involved in online technology that made direct marketing easier for businesses through searchable demographic databases. The photos are all stock photography from the Photodisc collection. For a closer look at each page, click on the images.

This spread was a section divider for Market Pulse Journal. The first half of the publication featured editorials and the cover story, while the back section, the Investor Resource Section, contained paid company profiles introducing varied small cap companies. Often, the color scheme and imagery changed with each quarterly issue. In my opinion, this was one of the most successful solutions during my tenure as Art Director. The second page of the spread features a table of contents for the section, plus a legal disclaimer and disclosure of compensation. All images are stock photography from various sources. These are two print advertisements for Body Science, Inc. For a closer look at each advertisement, click on the images.

The first was for various Body Science products intended to help weight trainers and body builders. The photo was taken for Body Science by a hired photographer and altered for the ad. The advertisment also includes a cut-out order form. I used a portion of the Body Science logo, a stylized DaVinci drawing, to tie the top and bottom halves together.

The second advertisement was for Prodige. We wanted an image that was sexy, yet tasteful, for the product, a natural, long-term alternative to Viagra. The photo is stock photography from Photodisc.

These are parts of a media kit I designed for Foodvision.com, a self-described "food portal" on the web. For a closer look at each piece, click on the images.

The first was the outside front cover of the two-pocket media kit folder, featuring the company' logo and an altered stock photo image from Digital Vision. Their existing logo conveyed a lighthearted feel, so I wanted to continue that feeling through the materials I designed for them.

The second was an informational "slick" for the inside, to complement the folder and to summarize some of the contents of the media kit. Both designs also complemented the company profile featured in one issue of Market Pulse Journal.

This is actually one of my projects from my time at Rochester Institute of Technology. It is a poster for a hypothetical symposium on the architectural designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. Our only requirements were that there be an image of Wright plus two of his accomplishments, and that the poster be black with one color. Knowing that Wright was quite the character, I chose an image of the back of his head rather than a "run of the mill" portrait. It gives the piece a surreal quality that I think comes through in his unique style of architecture. As a college piece, it does have some technical flaws, but conceptually it is still very strong.
